WE ARE THE PORTLAND EAGLES

AND PROUD OF IT!

The Portland Eagles received their Charter in 1904 and have the honor of being the oldest Aerie in the State of Maine. We are approximately 1,500 Aerie members strong and have an Auxiliary membership of approximately 800.

Our members consist of people from every walk of life. We are active and committed to the “People Helping People” motto of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Through our donations we support our local police and fire departments that put their lives on the line every day to protect and serve us. We help support medical research in areas such as breast cancer, heart disease, diabetes, Crohn’s disease, and cystic fibrosis. The Portland Eagles also believe in and care about our young people and donate to local schools, charities for battered and abused, and the Children’s Miracle Network.
